What does the region's economy look like? Fox Valley Workforce Development Area Workforce Observations Descriptions of unemployment, employment by industry, and other workforce issues published monthly by the WI Dept. of Workforce Development. Fox Valley Workforce Development Area Regional Profile Descriptions of industries, occupations, education, income, population and labor force published yearly by the WI Dept. of Workforce Development. Includes analysis of the county’s current and projected population dynamics and its effect on labor force, the county’s industry and occupational composition and wages, commuting patterns and income information. This listing of the 50 largest employers for each county in Wisconsin gives an idea of the industry strengths of a county. WI Dept. of Commerce County Profiles These summaries cover population, quality of life, income, government expenses and business income. WI Dept. of Tourism County Profiles These summaries detail the economic impact of tourism. University of Wisconsin - Extension County Profiles Descriptions of demographics, workforce, housing, and education with comparisons to the state averages.
