Job Seeker A job seeker is anyone who is unemployed, underemployed, or looking to change careers. The FVWDB has six one-stop job and career centers in our seven county area. Please visit the link to the right to find the one closest to you. The job and career centers offer many services to job seekers, including: Core Services (job searching, resume writing, etc.) Intensive Services (WIA programs) Disability Navigator (please also see link to the right) For additional resources, also consider: Career Changers Network (volunteer-based job search network group) Job Website Links (found on our Websites & Links page) Resource Guides The Job Centers provide a variety of job search services to all job seekers regardless of background or financial standing. For those meeting certain eligibility guidelines, additional services may be available through the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) programs the Fox Valley Workforce Development Board administers.
