On-Line Job Listings

Employers can post job listings on the Wisconsin JobNet website for free.  Contact Steve Callahan, (920) 968-6306, for more information.

Advertising on Job Center Websites

Employers can also advertise hiring campaigns on the Job Center websites.  Contact your local Job Center for more details.

Job Fairs

Find the right employees at our spring Job Fairs.  More information and a schedule of upcoming Job Fairs statewide are available online.

On-Site Recruitment and Interviewing at Job Centers

Businesses can set up stations for potential employees to fill out applications and have interviews at the Job Centers.  For more information, contact your local Job Center.

Pre-Screening and Referral

Employers can use the Job Centers as the single source to collect and screen employment applications.  We can use your existing application form or the standard, approved Job Center employment application form.  For more information, contact your local Job Center.

Assessment and Testing

The Job Centers offer a variety of standardized assessment and testing services, including proficiency, aptitude, and interest testing.  We'll also provide the linkages to area Technical Colleges to find solutions to your assessment and testing needs. Training Programs

Employees of area employers can come in and learn typing, 10-key, and computer applications at their own pace using state of the art software.  Contact your local Job Center for more information.

Professional Networking through Career Changers Network

The Career Changers Network is a non-profit, all volunteer, job search network group.  This free networking group focuses on professional, managerial, executive, and sales personnel that are actively involved in the job search.  The focus is on collaborative, win-win, professional networking that creates sustainable, long term success.  Associate companies are able to maintain a company profile, browse the profiles of applicants, and post new job listings.  To learn more, visit the Career Changers website.

Labor Law Workshops

These annual, one-day workshops provide up-to-date information on workers' compensation, equal rights, unemployment, labor standards, and other issues.  A schedule of upcoming Labor Law Workshops statewide is available online. 

Dislocation Services

The Fox Valley Workforce Development Board and its Job Centers can provide a variety of services to businesses planning a layoff or plant closure.  A professional team is available to come onsite and meet with business representatives to map out a comprehensive service package that includes access to available retraining funds, supportive services such as child care and transportation reimbursements, employment search assistance, comprehensive job search training, including professional resume development, and more.  To learn more, visit the Wisconsin Dislocated Worker website or the Department of Labor Dislocated Worker website or contact (920) 720-5600.
